On December 20, 2024 we were very honored to host a clinic given by Sensei Takato Naohisa at the dojo. Sensei Takato is the Olympic Gold Medalist at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. He is a four time world champion having won the 60kg division in 2013, 2017, 2018, and 2022.

Sensei Takato showed his tachi waza techniques including his Ko Uchi Gari and his variations of the Kata guruma. He also spent a lot of time with the students critiquing their techniques, and at the end of the clinic he graciously signed a lot of signatures to gis, belts and shirts.
