CJ Pascual-Tabuyo and Jessica Dixon traveled to Colorado Springs to compete in the USA Judo Youth National Championships. Both girls competed at 63 kg in two age divisions – Cadet and IJF.

In the IJF Division, Jessica won her first match and then lost the next two matches. CJ lost her first match and won her second but tweaked her knee so pulled out of the competition.

In the Cadet Division, Jessica lost her first match, won her second, and then lost her third match. CJ went 3-2 and ended up with third place.

After the tournament, the girls, Jessica’s dad, Sensei Robin and Sensei Greg went to visit the Garden of the Gods.
